Robert William Schrier : ウィキペディア英語版 | Robert William Schrier Robert William Schrier (born 1936, Indianapolis, Indiana) is founding editor-in-chief of the magazine ''Nature Clinical Practice Nephrology''. Schrier was formerly Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine for 26 years, and Head of the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension for 20 years. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. == Education == Schrier graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis in 1953; he then went to DePauw University where he received his bachelor's degree in 1957; and graduated with his MD in 1962 from Indiana University Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. Residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. Fellowship at Harvard at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital with George Thorn and David Lauler. He was a Fulbright Scholar (1957-58) and a Guggenheim Fellow (1986-87). Dr Schrier has been granted honorary degrees from DePauw University, the University of Colorado, the University of Silesia, and the Medical College of Ohio.〔 (Biography from Nature Clinical Practice Nephrology website )〕
